We are thrilled to offer a range of opportunities for students interested in gaining practical experience in the field of psychology to get involved in innovative psychological research. Undergraduate research in the Department of Psychology provides opportunities for qualified undergraduates to obtain firsthand, supervised research experiences. Students may assist professors and/or graduate students with a research project by helping to prepare the study or aspects of data collection, data entry, or analysis. This experience will deepen your understanding of psychological theories and methodologies while contributing to meaningful research that enhances our knowledge of human behavior and cognition.

Office for Undergraduate Research & Artistry (OURA)
The mission of OURA is to serve as a resource at Colorado State University to promote and expand experiential learning for undergraduate students through quality research, artistic, and other creative experiences with skilled mentors. OURA provides undergraduate students with opportunities to develop skills, learn about and connect with research mentors, and share their work with others. OURA conducts formal and informal training, which helps students enhance their research experience, deepen their understanding of disciplinary material, and increase their value to graduate programs and future employers.
Handshake
Handshake connects students and alumni with employers through online job/internship postings, job and internship interviews, career events, and more. Handshake is a service provided by the Career Center and may include posted research positions.
